My blog post today is a free blog post again. The random topic I picked for today is little kid movies. I have no idea why but I absolutely love little kid movies. I spend more of my time watching children's movies than I do watching anything else. I think little kid movies are so entertaining because they were made for like 5 year olds, especially Disney movies. Disney movies having princesses and evil queens going and just randomly breaking into song but it seems so normal for little kids because little kids randomly do things as well. The characters, the songs, the songs, the ideas behind the movies capture children's attention and I think that's why they are so entertaining.

During this blog post I am going to talk about the reasons I hate winter. One reason I hate winter is because I hate being cold, that's one of my main reasons is because winter is cold. I would rather it be extremely hot than it be just a little bit cold. Another reason is that I don't like wearing actual shoes and having to wear long sleeved shirts. I hate having to wear shoes SO much. I would rather wear flip flops or none at all, and I hate having to wear ling sleeves because I just don't like long sleeved shirts. I think the snow is beautiful but the slush that comes after, not so much. I hate that after it snows all the snow turns to disgusting, wet slush that sticks to my pants and shoes. While playing in the snow is fun I really don't like getting snow inside my clothes, at all. It bugs me so much that I try really hard not to get my clothes wet and have snow inside my clothes other people think it is quite amusing to throw snow down my clothing.

Free Blog Post

This blog post doesn't have a prompt. I am going to right about how sucky it is to be sick. I had strep for like a week and it sucked. I ran a fever, had a sore throat, runny nose, and a migraine. My week has not been fun. I do not know how I got strep or why but I had it and now its gone so yay. after missing a week of school I now how to catch up on homework, finals, and switching classes. I honestly hope that I never get strep again. I have had it at least six times in my life and as I said before, it sucks. Plus strep takes forever to get over and then you have work and school stuff backed up forever as well and you can't seem to catch up.

The Worst Thing Parents Can Do To Their Children

The worst thing parents can do to their children is shelter them from the real world. I think this because when those children get older they are going to have a massive reality check. They are going to have to figure out what goes on in the world now that their parents aren't there to protect them from it. Kids need to figure stuff out on their own and learn from their mistakes. They can't do that if the parents don't let them. Kids need to learn what all happens out in the world and not have such strict regulations on what they get to know or they will be clueless when they leave home. The kids may even come into harm to themselves and other people from lack of knowledge of what goes on in the world. Parents want to protect their children but sheltering them from everything won't protect them if it means that they could get into trouble or get hurt from not knowing about what goes on. Kids need to be protected but not to the point where it could cause damage or harm in the future.

Summer Vacation

Summer vacation is one of the most longed for things during the school year. Warm weather, no school, and sleeping in till however late you see fit are some of the things that I enjoy about summer vacation. This year during summer break I am going to Florida to see my sister. We plan on going to the beach, doing shopping, and going to Sea World. Other things about summer vacation that I enjoy is that I don't have to wear tennis shoes and jeans. I really do not like having to wear shoes so slip on flip flops are amazing. I also like that ice cream is more readily available during the summer. Swimming is also something more favorable to do in the summer.
