Everyone Is A Millionaire- At Least In Norway

While most governments are struggling to manage their funds, the Norwegians have enough money to make every citizen a millionaire. Well, paper ones at least. The Norwegians started saving money since 1990. They came into extra funds after finding oil in the North Sea, off the coast of Norway. Instead of going and blowing all the money they came into, they decided to save it for future generations.  This fund is called the Government Pension Fund- Global, made to secure the future of its citizens. Thanks to investments, the rise in oil prices, and the set limit on how much can be withdrawn from the account they now have a total of 5.22 trillion kroner or 828.66 billion U.S. dollars. Now all 5,096,300 citizens of Norway are millionaires, nut no one is pressing on getting their money. They are all trying to save the money for future generations. I believe my country hasn't set up one of these funds because we haven't thought about the future, just the present.

  1. The government has accumulated over 17 trillion dollars in debt.
  2. The astute planning of the school building makes it very safe.
  3. The clamor of the crowd at the gate was enormous.
  4. The dividend of the problem was smaller than the divisor.
  5. Most Nordic people generally have blonde hair and blue eyes.
  6. The inhabitants of Norway are called Norwegians.
  7. The scientist had to be very savvy to excel at his job.
  8. Rich people can squander their money on things they don't need.
