The insane waterslide ride in Kansas City has been named Verruckt, meaning insane in German. Insane it is. This particular waterslide is as tall as a seventeen story building. That amounts to being taller than Niagara Falls or The Statue of Liberty. If you dare to take this treacherous ride you will have to start by climbing 264 stairs to the top. After you get there you will take a raft with three other people and free fall. The company hasn't said how fast you will be going but we do know it is faster than 65mph, faster than Brazil's Insano. After free falling 17-stories you will then be propelled over a five-story hill. The designer Jeff Henry, also known as the Water Wizard, has designed many other attractions like this one for the park. He says that the Verruckt is his best creation yet. Currently the waterslide is being thoroughly tested to make sure the ride is completely safe. I don't want to go try this ride because I am scared of heights but for all you people that aren't. Go give it a try.
